WorkFit...We Deliver

Can't get to the RSF for a workout? Looking for ways to help improve the health and wellness of your staff?  The Department of Rec Sports can help. We'll develop an in-house fitness program for your department.  Our certified fitness instructors will come to your site and lead regular fitness classes at a time convenient for your staff.  The benefits are:

Our Clients

We currently have programs running at Cal Housing, Dining and the following locations across campus. In total, we have more than 450 workouts per week. Class sizes range from 7-25 participants.

        "I attended the one at Tang Center yesterday, mainly because I had meetings. On Tuesdays, I had the chance to meet other people (not that I know everyone in IST), which was a bit refreshing. One thing I learned while talking to folks from other departments - the class is fairly cheap, at around $30/semester. The reason I was so attracted to this was the $10 price tag.         The Workfit program is terrific! First of all, in tough times when we’re not receiving any raises and may be furloughed, I appreciate the Chancellor subsidizing the cost of something as important for desk-bound staff as strength training and yoga. Secondly, the classes themselves are well taught and enjoyable, building healthier bodies and collegiality. And, thirdly, we don’t have to get wet this fall and winter to get to class!
